Samantha Raye “Sammie” Caflisch

July 26, 2005 – July 27, 2020

Born July 26, 2005, Sammie Caflisch grew up with a big heart and a contagious laugh. On July 27, 2020, Sammie was thrown from a vehicle during a crash. She was not wearing a seatbelt, and of the four occupants, she was the only one who did not survive. At just 15, her life ended far too soon. Sammie loved competitive cheer, skiing, and being with friends, but most of all she loved Jesus. Her family and friends remember her for her fierce loyalty, laughter, and her reminder to everyone she loved: “please buckle up.”
